Pel-Air wins Victoria contract

Pel-Air, a subsidiary of Regional Express Holdings Ltd, has been awarded the contract to provide air ambulance services to Victoria, Australia, offering the region fixed-wing patient transport services from mid 2011.
Despite being the subject of two investigations by Australia's air safety authorities, Pel-Air has won the 10-year contract for air ambulance services to Sydney, much to the surprise of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, which missed out on the deal.
